I belive in christianity as a philosophy but not the god thing.
The concept of salvation is ridiculous as is life after death and Jesus as god.
The idea that we have this sin that someone had to die for is so primitive it is laughable. It is like telling your children that you are going to die because they have been naughty. Oh, and by the way I'll only die for a couple of days anyway and then I'm heading off home. LOL.
Primitive people need primitive concepts that fit with their experience but I think most of us are past that now.
At least I am. More to the point, my conscience is clear and I can't pretend to believe something I don't.
If I am to be punished for being true to myself then I guess that makes god pretty ungodly.
