By not speaking out against it, Jesus and Paul indirectly give credit to slavery, but that is the purpose of it. Actually they both say that one must obey one's masters and Paul says directly that masters are put in power by God, so that is explicitly giving direct legitimacy to slavery. I'm not sure what website you referred to, as I have only just noticed what you have posted.
