To the majority of Australians it is acceptable to practice your religion in freedom and yet the Russian Orthodox Church uses Politics to try and suppress JW’s. And the courts and Putin’s Government call us extremists that need locking up. How absurd!! But that’s the deal done between Putin and the Russian Orthodox Church. The Church says to Putin if you persecute JW’s we will make sure you have our support and we will help to keep you in power. There is corruption and injustice in our world. That’s why it’s nearing its end. God will not tolerate it much longer. The ancient prophets like Noah, Elijah, Elisha, Jonah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and Daniel all foretold a day and time of complete destruction and an end to badness. Did it happen? History says YES. The greatest prophet of all time Jesus gave a warning in Luke Chapter 19 about Jerusalems coming destruction. Did it happen? It certainly did! Just 37 years after Jesus death and resurrection the Roman legions destroyed the city with massive loss of life. Go to modern day Rome today and stand before the Arch of Titus and you will see the connection. I have and it’s real. Ridicule and deny the warning signs being given today, right now if you like. But you have been given a chance to listen and act. It’s entirely your choice.

The experience in Russia should provide JWs with an idea of what it is like to be persecuted on the grounds of religious belief. But they insist on persecuting families through shunning. JWs may justify shunning through avoiding some sort of perceived pollution of their flock by non-believers. Perhaps the Russians want to avoid perceived pollution through contact with JW doctrine. JWs don't appear to learn from personal experience so there is little chance of them learning from others.
