The range of error for carbon 14 dating is well understood, including possible contamination of samples being tested. This is all taken into account. Plus there is no shortage of supporting evidence from other sources, geological, cosmological, etc....all clearly pointing to a 4.5 billion year old Solar system and 13 billion, give or take, year old Universe...which may be cyclic, a part of a lager system or something that nobody has thought of yet, the latter I suspect.
