    Equivocation. There is a distinction to be made between holding a belief without evidence - faith - and trust which is built or destroyed through direct experience, which is evidence. Two different things. The point of this equivocation appears to be an attempt to justify faith....'oh. look, everyone has faith, sitting on a chair, walking down the street, etc, therefore my faith in the existence of God is as justified as any belief, it's all faith''

    That is false logic. Trust allows for uncertainty, that the rope may break, that we might get hit by a car....we understand the risks, while faith is holding to a belief that has no verifiable evidence, doubt is avoided, questioning of faith often being seen as threatening
