Christianity had its day when women were burnt as witches, homosexuals where murdered, Third World peoples where destroyed in the tens-of-millions, those that lived were enslaved by Christianity and their cultures obliterated. This good ol' boy still got the murdering twinkle in his eye.
Just imagine if we gave Christians free-rein to implement their belief on a global scale. It would get ugly, brother. Thankfully we passed through the moral indignation and ignorance that this old fellah's beliefs once imposed on us.
You don't need satan when you have fundamentalist religion. They do all the heavy lifting for him without even being tickled.
