I guess after the previous CEO, Ahmed Fahourand, his $5 million salary with the never ending bonuses was getting a tad difficult to defend for the Government.
Remember it was Turnbull's government, not Morrison's.
So when our wonderful press breaks a story about highly paid execs getting Cartier watches as gifts from the new CEO for simply doing their jobs, it was a road to far for Morrison ---- and Albonese.
