Merry Christmas to all!

For the last few years I have volunteered 3 hours on Christmas Day to help in the kitchen of the Wayside Chapel in Kings Cross, Sydney. I'm not religious, but it's the most fulfilling task you can undertake.

Do you realise how much some people just want to have someone to talk to on a day like today. The enjoyment these guys got from a few minutes of chat was fantastic.

They're downtrodden but today was one of their best like it should be.

Every year there's been more and more people.

I even got into a football argument lol, I think he forgot his situation for at least a little bit.

Here's a cheers (I'm holding my bourbon up) for all those alone on Christmas Day. I'm with you!
