For non-Christians, Christmas is a day off to eat & drink, just like the other public holidays are days off to eat in drink for those who have no particular empathy towards them.
There is Australia Day, Bank Holidays, Labour Day, the Queens Birthday, etc. Not all people love Australia, banks, unionists and the royal family.
In Townsville, there is Townsville Show Day.
I trust Townsvillians do not expect all & sundry to celebrate on Townsville Show Day therefore I trust our good Christian friends can share a similar democratic sectarian spirit.
