I'm lucky and my results are pretty good. I can't define exactly what is the main reason but for sure no magic formula. I work between 12-16 hours a day 6 days a week. I read at least 5 hours a day different materials about sectors, industries, niches, macro economy, etc... another 5 searching balance sheets, reading about,(I work Australia and USA markets), and another 3-4 hours trading.(usually at open and close of markets hours)

yes, if I could, I always will recommend the basics that most old and experienced brokers , and very successful ones will recommend

a) diversify the portfolio
b) choose carefully and most put u money in shares with reliable growth and dividend
c) keep a small amount for some "punts", But really something that doesn't jeopardize the entire year's results

Again, obvious no advice, just my views
