Still here. Busy trading and not much new to discuss right now.
Waiting for exploration results to start to come through or gold price to take off. Gold price taking off looking much more likely after latest Cyprus deal I can't believe what they have agreed on. It amazes me to see such a large and so obvious theft from large depositors. How do they expect any large companies or individuals with large amounts of cash to leave their money in any stressed bank especially in Europe but even worldwide? How do any stressed banks survive a run on cash? What are these beauracrats thinking? I wouldn't even feel safe holding gold as there is already a history of that being confiscated.
Is holding gold equities (with careful selection to filter out those not offering strong returns on equity) becoming the least risky option? I guess a spread of options is best. I've been an optimist all my life, but its getting very difficult to be optimistic about the world.
