If you do the number ,$31,000,000 rent for 15 aged care instuations over 8 years , as reported in the ABC article, is aproximately $260,000 pa per instution. not an unreasonable amount considering the amount of specalised equipment that these instutions need.
The ABC has been hauled over the caols about the editing of the dancers and the launch of the Navy ship, made to appear that the dancers were part of the launch process when , in reaqlity they were on the wharf and gone before any of the official party arrived. The dance group has lodged a complaint against the ABC apparently.
It seems the ABC will twist a story to denigrate or implicate the Fed Govt in any of these issues. The Greek Archbishop (Markarious, interesting ,I wonder whether he was related to the Bishop Markarious of Greece in the 60's ) had his vestements paid for by a private donor according to the Church. I have no affiliations with any church or religion. Just looking for the facts in an issue ,past the click bait headlines.
