It is a general warning. I would suggest most people have been humbled many times. It often happens very quickly once someone gets puffed up about themselves. Like Humpty Dumpty sitting on a wall before he had a big fall. Looking at things financial it happens all the time. Just have to look at recent market problems to realize how humbling losing lots of money can be to ones sense of pride and/or security.
