Transferring shares to his wife is completely fine they are his shares after all, increasing pay is fine in my opinion as the company has grown substantially both in size, profits and equity minus intangibles. Share price drop is out of their control, management tried to assist but gave up after all efforts failed. LinkedIn is the only issue I see, and Its not even that bad.
