Congrats on arriving at this decision cred. I say this genuinely and not in an attempt to antagonise you or anyone else. We all know Jim is not the perfect leader. We all have concerns about him. We just may differ on how much we need to discuss it...which is fine. We also may disagree with how much his flaws change the value of CI1 shares...again it's fine to disagree.
The reason I say congrats, is that it seems to me that you haven't had belief in this company for a long time. Aligning your portfolio with your gut and your core beliefs will help you to sleep well at night. Take whatever learnings you can from it, and move onto your next trade. To be honest, there is no way I would let this company become my biggest holding. As you said, your biggest holding should be one you have high conviction in. I'm happy to be in this, I still think it's cheap, and if the CEO was a bit less eccentric I might have 2-4X my current holding.
