My mother and I were busy dodging bombs and watching cities burn in Europe at that time...... while my father was trying to take Stalingrad from Stalin.
Any real traumas I have/had are from those days.
Similarly, I never felt I had to say "sorry" on Sorry Day. My ancestors had nothing to do with our Aboriginals. They were too busy pillaging and looting with Attila or some such.
