All the overseas markets (FTSE, DJI, Nasdaq, TSX) were way down last night.
One benefit of the ASX being closed today is that our market can't react to that. And if the overseas markets rebound tonight our time, then Monday's trading here will reflect tonight's activity rather than last night's. It just gives us that buffer of a day off after a bad night overseas, and hoping for a better night tonight.
PDN likewise usually bounces after a retracement like that, so hopefully it will do so tonight, then we'll see "normal" trading of PDN on Monday.
The only problem with PDN here in Australia is that one of the newsletters (I seem to recall it may have been The Ferret) had PDN as a SELL above $9 to take profit, rather than letting it run. That will cause a fair bit of resistance at the $9 level.
But longer-term, (and I have held my PDN for over 2.5 years now) I still see PDN heading north-east, perhaps to $14 - $17 Aus.
