What you are proposing makes sense. I hold much smaller holdings of COF and CIP and will be part of capital raising but do not need to sell to be part of the capital raising. Interesting looking at some of the reports I get, CIP was valued at $3.12 with a hold. But that is one brokers view. I looked at the data provided in Commsec and they have fair value at $3.68.
