Today's AFR reports that the Indian generic drug manufacturer Cipla is looking for local acquisitions in Australia.
I think PBP would be a great acquisition for them.
And, on the other side, if PBP are on the prowl themselves for a pharma manufacturer the competition will have just gone up.
Pure and utter speculation on my part.
PBP is trading below its fair price. An approach by Cipla would see value come back into the price.
