It has been so long now that I cannot remember the particulars . . . but the essence was that the company showed great prospects - based on what the management/directors were saying. And based on some of the reports that some analysts were putting out . . Huntleys comes to mind.
Because of this I decided to invest in equity in this company . . only to learn that the management/directors had not been telling the whole truth and the company prospects were , in fact, not good at all. The rest is history as is my investment.
I suppose that the one of the great things about HC is that we can go back to that time and find the detail of the deception as expressed by some of the very loyal and equally deceived fellow shareholders.
I can remember the Day that Martin Jones addressed the AGM in Chatswood and said he was there to help. . . . and despite the great prospects, the company was going into administration. Not too many happy people.
