I founded a company that eventually got acquired by SLC indirectly.
Getting cheap Cisco gear and their PR resources was too easy. We were given Cisco Certified Partner status without any spend quota or certified engineers, they did all the media and press releases, and we had it embroidered on our uniforms! We barely bought anything from them, all a load of tosh at the end of the day!
