Citi analysts note supermarket scan data are suggesting Coca-Cola Amatil had a very strong Christmas with double-digit volume growth. Apparently bottled water has been a popular seller.
The analysts see this as further support for their view the company is poised to meet its guidance for the year. They do note also there has been additional marketing and deeper promotions.
