    Hi TW,
    the ASX shortlist is always a day or two behind but there's also a few free mailing lists that come in and make note of the heavily shorted positions from time to time.

    All I know is when the blue chips tend to recover very quickly (>3%) like that it's because the price is being forced up by folks looking to close out their short positions all at once, which precipitates the upswing. Small exit and all looking to get through it simultaneously.

    Also no real drivers to send the price that low, I didn't think sentiment was that bad, yes oil price has dropped but OSH in a great position especially with increased divvies in the new year.

    I've sold some puts in my SMSF for OSH next year to expire in and around dividend time so banking on them being above $9. Time will tell and the funds with some big $ tend to drive the price based on the positions they open which can cause some pain in the short terms but that's the way our market is.
