I have been watch this stock since b4 the consolidation, particularly becos I hold a stock that likewise, appears to need consolidation which more often than not appears to be a 50/50 bet on success. If I read what has been posted since Oct/Nov 2022, todays price of around 19c appears to be equal to the pre-consolidation price .....is that right or wrong?
The new consolidation of shares on issue is now around 235m, which if MC holds approx half, means its still a very tightly held register, which is usually an attraction to me, especially seeing production is a stronger probability than possibility,
However, then comes the thorny matter of paying for the ramp up to production - usually only 3 options - either debt, again issuing shares, or JV?
From my experience of many, many years of being at the lower level of a bottom feeder small retail investor classification, this is the time where the management of that ramp up either makes or breaks the value and capital gain of the stock. For example I have two stocks that have in the last 12/18 months become producers - one lead and one tungsten. I kept my holding equity abreast of extra CR's, with expectation of cash flow, stabilisation, and moving forward to divi's - but sadly no. Both are into production, BUT still raising capital to attempt to break even......not happy...
The big plus here in terms of moving to production, IMO appears ATM to be MC's holding....
Would any one or two of the long term holders here, be good enough to comment (for or against) on my ramblings... IMO nobody really knows a stock until they have had skin in it for a while? Without any intent to ramp up or down, I'd appreciate any advice.forthcoming.
