Just returned from North Qld, including a fantastic guided tour of the Citigold mine.

Yes - the horizontal mining has started at Warrior at several levels - this is cheaper, faster and higher grade than the laborious vertical drilling to get there. One section was 160g/t.
Yes - the electricity upgrade is imminent - about 1-2 weeks, which will treble gold production at least, since they can work at several levels at same time. We saw Ergon installing some of the final poles.
Yes - the extra machinery is already to go - we saw it.
If you have any doubts about the wonderful future of this mine, I strongly suggest you visit the mine - words don't do it justice. The GM of Mining lives at CT and will give you a great tour of mine. Jetstar flies to Townsville direct from Sydney in only a bit over 2 hours, and you can get a hire car from airport & drive is only about 90 minutes to CT.
