Lacey, the former CEO of Queensland's Royal Children's Hospital Foundation, has just been named the new CEO of Jenny Hutson's listed G8 Education group.
Now, Lacey has come up through the fundraising ranks rather than the traditional corporate model of directors and your diarist reckons that is a very good thing.
She has been fundraising for the Royal Children's Hospital for years and prior to that fundraising for the RSPCA and prior to that involved with the MS Society of Queensland.
Remuneration? Well, could be lotsa. She has been issued 400,000 options exercisable at $1.27. Of that, 200,000 options are exercisable within 18 months of her taking the job and the balance between 12 and 36 months.
She is almost in the money already although it is a bit early to be buying the beachhouse or new Mercedes. The G8 share price yesterday closed down 5.5 cents at $1.27.
