City Pacific buys Treasury Group for $24mln

BRISBANE, Feb 18 AAP - Diversified financial company City Pacific Ltd said today it has acquired commercial mortgage asset manager, structured financier and property syndicator Treasury Group of Companies Pty Ltd.
City Pacific said the $24 million an all-scrip deal boosted its mortgage asset book to $5 billion and gives it access to substantial institutional funds.

The Treasury Group of Companies is an investment house specialising in the property and mortgage asset classes. Through its finance arm, Treasury Property Finance, it provides funding for the acquisition and refinance of office buildings, retail shops and showrooms, industrial warehouses and residential projects.
