Also consider that there is 1/2 a cup of oil that goes into making 1kg of wheat - from fertiliser manufacturing to transport, the world is going to need oil and gas for a long time.
If oil and gas production is cut, world food shortages will starve about 1 Billion or so people globally.
Don’t believe we will live in a world without oil and gas unless there is a technology breakthrough on the fertiliser front. OPEC cannot cut oil production without being impacted on wheat and grain price increases. These are products they can’t live without.
