I myself find it offensive when anyone talks about someone behind their back. I also find it offensive if people talk in a language one of the party does not understand in front them. There is no difference IMO.
We are not talking about a person being in Greece, Italy, Romania, anywhere, when they dont know the language. Then it is up to that person to adjust, which they will, this about people using another language because they know/assume, other poeple around them cannot understand what they are saying. This is the ultimate in rudeness, people who use this tactic should be exposed for what they are. You can decide what they are................
