Way it works as I understand it, German investors on the Frankfurt exchange create warrants to trade in ckk shares. There will still be a finite number of shares as per
what's currently on the ASX.
If the Germans buy these warrants their traders have to go and get the shares, so the German broker puts an order with an Aussie broker to buy the shares according to the number of warrants sold. This locks up the German shares in a nominee account is Australia where they remain until the warrants are traded again. Consequently it takes the existing stock off the market.
