The referance to Chineese holidays being the delay was also unstettling for me. if this BOP is made in China I just hope there are some good quality controls, wouldnt want it blowing up.
ANd a consultant for ancillaries brings back memories from working for Posco and imported japanese parts for a burnt out steel mill at Antioch california with all the parts in Japaneese symbols and plans that are read upside down to understand, why not get the parts from the USA and pay a little more for safety and less frustration?
I sure as hell wouldnt want to work an oil well with 8000PSI of pressure below me all protected by a Chineese tap.
