Think you're miscalculating their PG. 88,000 x .0011 (0.11%) is $96.8. Not sure how you calculated yours.
And as for stripping ratio you will still need a similar pit shape. If you change the ore zone to 5m that makes the two waste zones 50m wide at surface and 100m deep gives you exactly a figure of 10:1 for a stripping ratio. Still need to be able to move machinery around etc.
