Actually Cobalt Im "hoping" for much, much more, but in this market now with cobalt where it is being realistic, I personally reckon a 200 mill USD would be happily accepted by a majority of shareholders right now. Thats around 35 cents a share. Or maybe even less? I hear on the street that CLA is being touted round potential buyers for around 300 million USD right now. If so, IMO thats a very a fair price to start discussions IMO.(50 cents a share) at the current moment.

Sure -if we wait a year for PFS so project value is more obvious and calculable -and for Cobalt demand growth to overtake the recently bumped up supply from DRC and price to rally we would probably get considerably more. But of course then well need to raise more money and dilute somewhat so swings and roundabouts.. Thats the trade off. As BB has always said it all depends on the cobalt price.

We all know Co demand keeps growing steadily, but DRC producers rapidly stepped up production this year with the massive price rally, (that was certainly unexpected by me -and by the co market) so unfortunately we currently have a supply/ demand inbalance right now (oversupply). That will of curse get taken out in time. DRC cannot just keep upping production like they did last year, but demand will keep growing long term and rapidly - probably in a J-type curve as EV sales continue to explode up and overtake ICE cars in value for money and infrastructure for them. So of course CLA is a great hold longer term, Again -it seems a bit naff to say down here in the doldrums for now but "Dont underestimate how high this can go". or as Thaiibnvest says-dont sell out too cheap.

Of course the trade off is theres lots of other games going on in meantime. BGL, ERX just had nice little runs. Not wanting to cross-polinate but I'm loading up big in TMR right now.

but as we are all aware theres loads of dogs with fleas prowling out there too ready to eat up our cash. And probably more ways to fall in the blue chips.

Generally as we all hate metals stocks right now -In my book thats a good time to collect. "buy em when you hate them" etc...

But please can someone just remind me to sell when we love them again!!...should have or would have of could have..........how many of you are thinking that the last month or so??

I'm with you on that!...I had always thought to myself that an $AUD 500M market cap would make me happy which is about 65-70c/share...

It does appear the Chinese do not like Glencore the Swiss company and I'm sure they would love to take over Glencore's Mutanda resource, which @ 2.1M contained tons of 0.46 cobalt is a GIANT...and then there is Katanga, Glencore's 75% holding with 405k contained tons of cobalt @0.45....I don't have the info for China Moly's major ownership of the huge Tenke Fungurume mine...

Looking forward to an increasingly as the months roll by much better next year with regard to my battery metals holdings...
