While I think the future of transportation is EVs there is one big hurdle that needs to be resolved taxation!! In the UK the tax paid on every litre of petrol is around 65% of the cost, which I guess is similar to most countries apart from those where water is more expensive ie Saudi. The UK has just reduced the EV subsidy by 1000 pds to 3500 pds/EV and my guess is that the more EVs sold the less the subsidy will become. This issue in my opinion will slow down the sale of EVs and hence the demand for battery metals. So some of the current demand forecasts for battery metals, IMHO, might be a bit optimistic!!

While I am a long term CLA holder I think the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow is a little bit further away that most of us believe, IMHO of course!!
