Of course, CLA needs to stand on its own merits. We will learn significantly more about these with the release of the Updated SS in late Q1.
In my opinion, the DRC's sovereign risk and its potential impact on future cobalt supply shouldn't be dismissed. The inital election results were to be released today but have been delayed due to apparent logistical issues, raising fears of rigging and manipulation. Prolonged uncertainty could trigger deadly clashes, similar to that experienced after the 2006 and 2011 elections.
While it would be superb if the DRC could make the transition that you describe; history suggests that this is unlikely which is to the continued detriment of its poverty stricken citizens. It's the likes of the companies that you list that have actually supported this oppressive political regime by choosing to conduct business there.
