Yes, was thinking this may be coming from Germany. As there was the BASF deal with DLI (lithium mine in Namibia) which is now merging with LPD (which has GXY as one of its main investors). And I told BB about this and he was aware of BASF "shopping around" in Namibia. And indeed Namibia is an ex-German colony and Germany still have strong ties with it and BASF is one of the largest German companies.
But what speaks a bit against it is that the volume of trading in Germany has remained very low even in this huge run up. So I think this rules out the German interest (or they have it covered up very well here in Germany and are buying only on the ASX).
