A great lightbulb for you, finding this article on EV metals !
Imho this is the most compelling article I have read recently.

Below is one part of it, that shows all long suffering SH, that cobalt is not lost in EV revolution, which will come for sure, even if the actual cobalt price seems to say 'No' .
The article is a bit long to read, but it's worth to understand EV metals, imo.

At the start of this article they asked a simple question: Given the current demands for copper, nickel, lithium and cobalt, do we have enough supply required for the construction of electric vehicles, and all the associated charging infrastructure?

Then I mean this part concerning cobalt (bold letters from me):

"For all of these reasons, some industry observers think cobalt’s days are numbered, but they’re wrong. That’s because cobalt is actually the “safe” element in the battery cathode. Reducing the amount of cobalt shortens the life of the battery cell. The battery has to last at least eight years – the industry standard – if not, the owner can replace it under warranty. Those battery replacement costs would likely negate any savings gained from using less cobalt".

That is why, I will continue to hold CLA, even at this shabby price !!
