Copper continues to push higher for the year into a weak US equities night, breaking out above $3.09 resistance level. Up to $3.10/lb or over $USD 6850/t now ($AUD9400/t).
Gold continues to consolidate above previous ATHs of $1923/oz spot and around $AUD 2700/Oz.
Look at that copper graph, speculation here but say if management were working this up this deal at the start of the year near that dip.... $2.2 to 3.1 is a 40% rise in copper prices so far. Not a bad deal and can partly explain why they got it so cheap?
