Cobalt is 80% sourced from the DRC and nothing will change that given the lack of viable/cheap supply from anywhere else. However, as you pointed out, CLA will certainly have the ethical advantage with negotiations going forward.
It is just such an obvious winner subject to favourable metallurgy/JORC/PFS in Q1 and extended JORC and leach testing thereafter.
The big bonus for CLA is the unexpected rise in copper prices to $3.30/lb with the threat of further increases. Markets reacting on that alone so BB may need to promote more heavily that component of our resource.
It just keeps getting better and better.
The perfect storm for CLA is 2018!
