My calcs as per coords came out at 6km also...but that's a straight line of course. Given that the jorc would interpret resource 100m or so at each end, then the initial jorc looks like it will be over the 6.5km as previously stated.
IMO the calcs done to date by posters...incl myself...have used a single planar DOF of around 4.5m width, which is plainly wrong as there have been many multiple DOF intetsections on quite a few holes which will significantly add to the initial jorc resource.
As you say ans25, what ever the initial jorc is, it will be rapidly upgraded with the recent completed infill drilling plus the ongoing current drilling.
As for cost of actually digging the ore up...as some posters seem to be very concerned with....I don't see this as an issue at all considering the DOF outcrops...or near too for its entire length...thus open cut would be quite easy. The initial open cut could possibly be continued for many yrs, as the initial jorc area is being mined, ongoing drilling over the other 90 odd km of DOF may well prove up similar deposits to the current jorc...thus enabling open cut mining to continue for quite some time, without ever requiring to mine underground...not until all the near surface ore has been mined anyway.
