Claiming Tax Loss A40, page-34

I don't think we can write the shares off as a capital loss just yet. In order to do so the liquidator or administrator must declare in writing that they have reasonable grounds to believe there is no likelihood that shareholders will receive any further distribution for their shares. We have not yet received this declaration. I emailed them last week but have not heard anything. Perhaps others may consider emailing to see if they get a response. I really want the capital loss now, before 30 June, to offset capital gains....
