Expanding on this a little - Last year UCM also submitted their CE MARK approval request for sales in to Europe after moving their facility to Budapest.
They previously had CE MARK approval on the USCOM 1A device, but regulations stipulate that when the manufacturing facility is moved / updated etc a company needs to re-apply for CE MARK.
On 30th October, UCM announced their European Expansion & this quote from the ann stands out as being very pertinent:
"The new initiatives will include developing a major marketing initiative around the new Uscom SpiroSonic AIR and myAIR digital telemetric ultrasonic devices due for CE regulatory approval in the coming months."
"The European Sales and Marketing hub in Budapest was established to expand Uscom’s customer support throughout Europe, and to expand the direct distribution of all Uscom products. Currently only the locally manufactured SpiroSonic devices are distributed through Uscom Kft."
Coming Months is of note... as this was October & we are now end-Feb.
