As you say, someone could consider buying Bass to acquire the tailings, but if they were so inclined they'd probably see the merit in sitting back until RMB calls in the debt. Then they would simply pay what's left owing for the whole shooting match.

Obviously plenty of us have lost large sums of money, no matter what the outcome of the current negotiations. I'd be in fair shape if I could sell for around 10c but unfortunately even that SP looks a million miles away from anything we are likely to ever see again. Goodness knows how much JID stands to lose as a major shareholder. He's certainly got the right to receive some serious explanations.
