I have maximum vwap at around 22c based on quick calc 130% of 17.2c (5 days prior to 13th December). Share price would need to be above 25c to trigger 130% option because 90% of 25c is 22.5c etc.
I'm sure other companies would have had an eye on convertible activity on their register. Maybe other holders of SOC are in a position to act if needed as you say.
I'm not sure whether the $1m will be broken into smaller amounts because it has not been announced. As usual, the vwap conversion calculation window is unknown. It's based on a 3 day vwap.
vwap calc for today was based near 90% of 16.5c.
