At the AGM held last November, MD discussed Woodside's Supply Base directly adjacent to Mermaid's Supply Base. He indicated that Woodside were barely using the facility. Would it not be fantastic if Mermaid were allowed to spread its operations to this very large and well infrastructured site
The Gulf of Mexico incident, where several people were unfortunately killed by massive storms and hurricanes, needs to be resolved. Mermaid Marine Australia were implicated in the tragedy and were at the time being sued with two other companies operating on the same contract. MRM has stated publicly through a statement to the ASX complete innocence in this incident.
Mermaid Marine Australia are fully covered by insurance and any payouts would have no effect on the finances of the company
If MRM takes over the WPL facility and the litigation issue is resolved the share price will bolt
The last six months results were so extraordinary, baring in mind the strike action on Dampier, and with all the selling by directors........
You just have to look at companies like Qantas laying off staff - where ever you look there are layoffs occurring and what happens with Mermaid, they are employing 20 new workers for worked dedicated just to additional work on the Gorgon Project
This is the calf before the storm. I do not care what anyone says this stock is ready to fly!!!!
