As far as I know they decided against doing the GA clinical trial and opted for the PTSD trial becasue they could get an outcome quicker and cheaper.
I think you are correct in saying that a GA trial would be longer and require more patients - and I think that that is the reason for doing the PTSD trial.
If PTSD trial works, then they would have much greater conviction to start the GA trial and so as I understand things, the Q3/4 readout is only for PTSD.
If this works then we are off to the races and as I have stated in previous posts, I think that the bar is pretty low based on the comparison data included in the recent Edison Research report on Page 13.
Success in this trial would provide an open door to considering trials for a number of other multi billion dollar indications.
Everyone is hopeful and itching to hear the results.
The melt up has not started yet.
