    risk = return? not necessarily. the fact you say that like its absolute fact is seriously misguided. because it depends on what basis you define risk. for example, read the fama and french research papers in the 90's on value and growth stock returns correlated to risk (in this case, beta). their findings - return has pretty much nothing to do with risk (beta). if you are correlating returns to another measure of risk - then what is it and how do you quantify it if its not beta clark? i am seriously intrigued lol.
