Another quick post - no time today things at camp Animinimoso are hectic at the moment.
Glad to see some movement at the station @spottyscottie. I assume you are at least semi-local to the area that is good to know.
I've banged on about it before but I cannot state enough how highly I rate getting your hands on the Metalurgical Survey Notes for Dorrigo-Coffs Harbour. Published in 1992 it isn't up to date by any means but give a solid report of the local area regarding Hillgrove and the other historic Antimony camps in the district, from turn of century to the publish date.
Also in respect to the Pelicans - @shivoo I have heard of this before. Could be a sign I guess...
I remember some years back being up working on a Dozer on an ex Forrestry block way up Pretty Gully - Sort of halfway between Tabulum and Urbenville - and seeing 8 or so Pelicans land on the dam nearby...some 100kms or so inland. Bit of a weird thing to see for sure.
