Welcome to the world of trading (as in all markets - stocks, FX, etc) where the poor old mug punter is no more than liquidity for the proprietary/professional punters to achieve their end goals.
Such investment houses have invested $millions, and have $millions at stake on the table. Do you really believe the humble day trader who will get his market intelligence 2nd or 3rd hand (at best) really has a sustainable advantage?
In years to come the DSH should (hopefully) become a text book case of what to watch out for when buying into an IPO.
