There are many smart people motivated to uncover any potential wrongdoing in this deal. That is the biggest problem imo with this type of take over attempt. Bot to mention big holders with potential strong connections. IMO if this deal does get done, it'll be investigated. And the primary deal makers best hope there is nothing under the covers. As we know through various royal commissions, the government has teeth, time and resources to continue these types of investigations. I'm not privy to anything myself, just thinking out loud. PLS will find this road difficult if they are bogged down in deep scrutiny. I wonder how the SP will be affected? So far it's flying off the back of this takeover news but that can all change. If anything, my money tied up buys me a seat at this opera until the final act.
